Four months from initial diagnosis, continue on 100 mcg prescribed from outset, recently feeling more weary again, ankles swelling & gradual return back to constipation... advice very much appreciated - thanks!

Should I ask my GP to increase my Levothyroxine?
Personally I would give it another 2 months to give your body time to fully adjust however you know your body best and it might be worth talking to your dr. Also ask for another blood test see where your levels are at!
Thanks so much for your reply, sorry for delay in my acknowledgement - the last couple of days mega busy so only just back online this morning! Your kind posting has reminded me my GP did say if I felt my symptoms were not improved that I could ask for a repeat blood test then an appointment with her once results back in surgery...
Get a new thyroid gland blood test, as these are clinical symptoms and you may now be undermedicated. Get a copy of your new test, with the ranges, and post for members to comment on them.
If you haven't already had a Vitamin B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate tested, ask for these too.
