I have zero libido, I'm not even talking a low libido I'm talking none. I didn't used to have this problem though and have been hypothyroid for 14 years so think it may have another cause but drs don't take any of my problems seriously unfortunately and fob me off so I haven't bothered mentioning it!
Ditto. My thyroid treatment has been pretty full-on for at least two years, so if I was going to see any results from t4 I would assume it would have happened already. I've been on t3 as well since April, and that hasn't helped. I tried transdermal hormones and vitamin/mineral supplements and that didn't help either.
Hard to find the end of the thread though. Is it an intrinsic thyroid thing or related more to how hypothyroidism makes you feel? I'm so tired and lacking in energy, it's like only getting three hours of sleep every night and wondering why you have no libido. Or could it be (in my case) perimenopause? It's a mystery.
Can your partner make some suggestions for how you could make them feel more loved without sex? It isn't the sort of thing you can just turn on because someone else feels you should.
Wish I could help.
