A third of GP's surgeries have FAILED there first inspection. Now I'm not one to gloat (LOL) but at last GP's are having to answer for their failings.

The inspections will fizzle out, GP's can get away with murder, one of them did for years!! Their appointments system is rubbish and they have no out of hours care, its disgusting considering the amount they are paid every year.

You think? I hope not as nobody should be unaccountable for their actions.

Here one speaks to a doctor on the telephone. If one is deemed worthy one is vouchsafed a face to face appointment. Actually, it works pretty well. At least one is no longer dead/better by the time and date of the appointment, made a fortnight previously by camping on the telephone for 2 hours. :O)

Aren't you the lucky one? here you have to make an appointment at least 3 weeks in advance!!

My surgery sounds bliss compared to both of the above - I can go on line and book appts and I have never had to wait longer than a week. I even managed to speak to a GP, book and have an ultrasound all within a week recently.
