It may skew your test results making them look better than they really are and waiting til after your test will do little harm.

thanks for the links and response, I'm not on Natural dessicated stuff, so not sure how relevant those links are to me right now, still very early days. but I guess in time I may well be following the advice more closely.

Makes little difference since the NDT is mostly T4 as well.

Personally I would take my levo tonight - I would only avoid taking levo if I took it in the morning and had my test in the morning.

I do not take my levothyroxine on the bed-time before a blood test. I take the tablet(s) with me and take immediately after the blood draw. On this one occasion, I ignore any issues about breakfast, etc.

I don't think it is nearly as important for us bed-time pill poppers to delay the dose as it is for morning poppers. For me, 23:00 to 08:00 makes a delay of just nine hours, so I do feel more comfortable delaying.

Others might they are not so happy waiting that long.

thanks for responding, i think i'm going to take as usual now as my appointment not til 9.30 and I agree that it would be more important to avoid taking it if I was taking in the morning.

Why don't you do a little experiment - with this blood test take is as normal and with the next test delay taking your levo until after the test and see if it makes much difference and then let us know what conclusion you came to.
