25mls of what please? That will help people to know how to help you :)

If you have recent thyroid blood test results, that will also help. It may be that your medication, whatever it is, is not right for you.

Hi That dose is a drop in the ocean. You will feel terrible. Ask for a lot more, gradually with retests first. Also ideally have TSH, T4 and Free T3 done, always ask receptionist for a print out of the result as and ranges ( differ), keep. I suspect it may be that your FT3 is very low, only BP will show that. common to need treatment with T4 ( levo) and T3., Get to a roper dose of Levo, gradually and then see if the FT3 is well in range.

Best wishes,

Jackie

I agree that it is too low. The normal starting dose is 50mcg and even then there is no reason why you couldn't be started on a higher dose. 50mcg seems a good level to go with as the TSH isn't very high. It should then be increased after 6 weeks if symptoms persist.

I shouldn't think it would make much difference, although it tastes quite nice and there is a little vitamin c in cider vinegar, as well as other beneficial ingredients (if contains "mother").

For those that haven't come across it, Honegar is cider vinegar with some honey in it. Mostly used for things like arthritis and making the body more alkaline.

Although cider vinegar is reputed to help with weight loss in some "normal" people, I would be surprised if helped with hypo (when the metabolism is totally messed up)
