That explains the thyroid part and probably the others. The liver does a lot of complicated work.
I have had raised liver enzymes for years with no diagnosis of why and I don't drink any alcohol at all.
Which enzymes are raised for you ? and by how much ?

It's ALT. The range is 0-40 and mine was 55. A German specialist I rate very highly said it needed checking out, or i wouldn't have bothered.

Are you overweight?
Non Alcoholic Fatty liver disease raises liver enzymes, most are overweight or obese.
Mine were very elevated from taking Paracetamol every day (a component of the painkillers I was taking then - I have chronic pain)
