I think it's made me more anxious . Having a thyroidectomy has changed so many things.

Hi If on the right dose of meds ie after bloods to prove needed, T4 and T3, then the anxiety should be OK, If not on enough Meds, of course, that is the cause.

Not being on enough meds, taking too much meds and being on the wrong meds (e.g. No T3), can all produce anxiety in my experience. As can increasing. Being on the right combo and dosage should really help. Xx

I suffered anxiety when I first started taking thyroxine, TSH was 50 so had probably been hypo for a long time. I started on 50 mcgm, but reduced it down to half a 25mcgm tablet and increased very slowly and that made the anxiety go away. It was a very odd feeling being anxious about nothing in particular!
