I had tingling in hands after being on 40mg of carbrimazole daily but now reduced to 5mg and no tingling, GP said it was carpal tunnel....amazingly it's gone now medication reduced. I use propanalol for palpitations but only when necessary - to be honest when I've had a drink at weekends but as given up wheat, 90 per cent of dairy and caffeine I'm not going to give up on wine at weekends!

Those symptoms may be caused by hyperventilation. I had a terrible problem with that after having an undiagnosed underactive thyroid for so many years. I started doing Buteyko breathing and that helped a lot. You can find lots of info online about breathing exercises for hyperventilation and explanations of how it causes the symptoms you mention.

I got better buy drinking sea salt in water first thing in the morning, taking vitamin b's and vit c several times a day. I also use Dr.Wilson's adrenal rebuilder.

Doing the circadian protocol also works really well for me. I do it with NDT, not T3.

Hugs,

Kat

You should probably know for certain whether you have low or high cortisol through the saliva test but here is some things to consider:
