Does anyone have any info on DHEA?

Ive been on it for some years now as I was told it would help with my M.E. having read some of the possible side effects Im not sure ifit is taking DHEA or my Hypothyroidism or even Menieres that causes some of my issues.

Dear Tavy,

I took DHEA at a low dose for about 3 months and it helped me a great deal, but then I'd been tested and shown to be deficient in it. I stopped taking it once my DHEA levels returned to normal.

I'm 85% recovered from ME and continue to improve. I have treated problems with my adrenals, then thyroid, digestion and gut health (and thus low vitamin and mineral levels), toxic element levels in my body and problems with my mitochondria (probably linked to the toxic elements).

Why not post your issues/symptoms and any test results here so the collective wisdom of the forum can express a view?
