Results of endoscopy next week and an abdominal scan, does everyone who has ibs first rule out coeliac disease with tests.

Hi, yes I think all IBS sufferers will have coeliac tested for first. Probably because coeliac can cause a lot of internal damage.

In my case I gave up wheat and gluten but still had pains...don't know why the Drs thought to still test for coeliac rather than suggest FODMAPS.

Good luck with your tests. Be armed with alternatives to check if its not coeliac.
