Has your doctor said that this is out of range? If so, is it low or high? What have they advised you? Probably best to get advice from your GP on this.

Dr Google is telling me this is in normal range (0.5 - 5.0). Did your doc say it was high?

What is the TSH interval (usually listed behind the result)? It can differ from lab to lab. My lab's interval, for example, is 0.4 - 4. So your TSH would be high, meaning your thyroid is most likely struggling. TSH is also highly volatile, depending on time of day (a difference of 50% is possible between morning and evening TSH), exercise, sleep, stress and more. If you are concerned, I would recommend joining "thyroid UK" on HealthUnlocked. They have a great number of very knowledgeable members who can advise you. If you decide to turn to your GP, I would ask for a full thyroid panel which includes TSH, FT4, FT3, TPO and TgAb to get a full picture of what your thyroid is doing. When seeking advice it is important to include interval (range) of all results. Thyroid issues are complex and often are accompanied by nutrient deficiencies such as vitamin D, iron and B12. You might want to have those levels tested as well. Within interval is often not enough. They have to be optimal.

Once you have figured out what's going on with your thyroid and your nutrients, you can take the next steps as required.

Hope that helps. :)
