IBS on holiday

Anyone else who suffers from constipation when they go on holiday?

Normally my IBS is reasonably manageable but POW , go on holiday and I struggle to go.

Well at least for 2-3 days anyway, diet hasn’t changed dramatically but doesn’t matter if it’s a week away or a 2-3 day city break.

It’s like clockwork. ☹️

I have the same experience! One doctor told me I have a ‘shy bowel’ which means it’s hard for me to go when I am out of my usual environment or routine or when having to go using public toilets. There was no recommendation other than trying to keep my routine consistent as much as possible.
