Good luck - Symprove did help me. It took about 8 weeks to work and I've taken it for a couple of years now.

Yeah I should have said that for the first 2-3 weeks or so I reduced the dose and only took a half dose (or less) as I too was sensitive to it. This is something Symprove recommend if it causes a flare up and then I gradually increased the dose over time to the full amount.

Have you tried probiotics? I know you have suffered for a very long time and might have tried them. My symptoms have gone up a big gear in pain and I am now on 55 billions bacteria ones and that has diminished the pain for me. The nausea not so much.

Yes the pain is debilitating and gets you down a lot. I have nausea too sometimes which is equally as bad. My probiotics which I got online and probably from USA maybe called Gut Rehab and they work for me in the main. I hope you get on with yours ok. Probiotics are the way to go in my opinion. Good luck.

I found many prescription pills have lactose as an “inactive ingredient” and I am lactose intolerant. I now take lactase tablets right before I take them. It helps.

Ginger root or tea really helps nausea- and motion sickness.
