Hi. MRCP, will show clearly the pancreas bile ducts gallbladder and liver for any diseases. I had a lot of sludge and a cyst on gallbladder. I had aot of pain around my back if I ate too much of the wrong food. Had my gallbladder removed 3 years ago and touch wood have been fine since. High pH in urine I can't help with sorry. It could be to do with a urine infection. Ask gp to have a urine test. Good luck. Let us know how he gets on .
