Slightly tweaked but posting this again as the last time I posted was late at night -so in case you didn't see it here it is again. Please check out the original post for everyone's input and feel free to add your own here. Had a bad one yesterday and would good to hear ore of all the creative stuff you do/did/ want to do despite the health issues and pain we all individually go through.....
After my last post I thought that regardless of how I feel that it would be good to have a positive post to come back to which could help all of us - particularly people who are extremely isolated. We could write a list of things we do to help make us feel a little bit better even though the pain and health issues can be horrendous to deal with. Some of my list is stuff I used to do and would like to get back into - chronic pain takes the motivation out of everything but this is kind of a note to self and hopefully you'll all join and talk about the things you love - and we can come back to this post for a positive reminder.
Talking to like minded people online about common interests
Making artwork using photoshop to create pics
I rarely read anything aside from online stuff but I'd love to get back into reading books.
Courses online - again there was one I had planned to do and still need the motivation.
Decluttering - throwing stuff out, giving stuff away or selling stuff I don't need
A bit of pampering - bubblebath/ bath bombs/ bath salts
Listening to my favourite music
Writing
Dancing
(Used to) Exercise (would like to again when motivated)
Some Helplines which may be useful-

CALM helpline - 0800 585858
No Panic - 0300 772 9844
Saneline - 0300 304 7000
Hope this helps...

My IBS is the worst it has ever been now. Seem to have Fibro and TMJD symptoms too. But we (me and hubby) have bought a camper van (just a little one) but it does mean, if I am not in too much pain, I can sit in the camper van in comfort and see more as it's higher than a car and we can go out for a ride rather than me sitting on the sofa. 😊
Hiya I'm sorry to here about your IBS and other symptoms. Not good. Hope things improve on that front with some decent care and support. The camper van sounds like fun. Comfort is definitely of the essence !
No, all I get from doctors is Vit D. I saw one of the other doctors at our practice recently but she just gave me Vitamin D and Folic Acid, both of which make me constipated. Although I did get her to feel my tummy standing up and she could feel something, she thought it may be a hernia, so I am waiting for an ultra sound appointment!
It just seems so odd Maureen, that you are clearly presenting with Fibro and should be getting a referral for that. At least they are doing some sort of investigation, I suppose.
Yeah, I thought at first she might actually help me because she listened to what I said but she just took my bloods and came back with the Vit D and Folic Acid thing. But as you say at least I'm getting an ultra sound done so that might lead to something. Things really don't feel right in there!
