So sorry , hopefully this is something that can be reversed over time when your body fully recovers from having COVID. It can take months to get the body back to normal after a severe infection and it can cause lots of short term illnesses in between. Type 2 Diabetes can often be reversed with changes in diet and the brain fog would ease too as the Diabetes will be responsible for that.My Mum had Type 2 Diabetes three times , she managed to improve and stop the tablets twice but unfortunately couldn't be strict with her diet so then the tablets had to stay.
