The difference between men and womens bowels. Womens colons are longer and their food moves through slower!

Hi All

I came across this whilst wasting time waiting to see what my tummy was going to do today! I didn't know that womens colons were longer than mens or that food went through them slower. You would have thought I had seen something about this before whilst googling looking for answers. So thought I would post it on here.

I hope your tummies are behaving themselves today.

That's interesting Maureen. I didn't know that.

I am a woman, but just wish things would move through a bit slower for me! lol

Thanks for posting this Maureen, something I have never come across either during my years of searching for answers.

This has been known for some time and this article sums it up quite well: gutbliss.com/the-voluptuous...

Thanks for that, looking at the images of the colon, it's no wonder I can't figure out what is going on in there! 🙃

Thanks read this as I’ve got slow track and loopy bowel everything takes ages to pass through ., so have to take laxido 2a day to help . Where my husband eats nonstop and anything and goes to bathroom no bother . I use to be like that but did always suffer from constipation every now and then . But like you just some days you just wander what’s going on . . Hope you’ve had a good few days .
