Sorry I cannot give you anything new to help you. I have decided to control it (if I can) and live with it. This afternoon had urgent bowel movement at work, got to loo and returned to my post no one any the wiser. Not always that easy especially if you are on a motorway but I learnt sphincter excerises that give me a few extra mins to find a loo. Good luck

Morning, I take either Meberevine or Buscapan Cramos to help ease the bowel spasms. When I get a flare up they can last months. My GP prescribes the meberevine as that seems to work best for me

Try buscopan as it helps me a bit . But I suffer from constipation and have been up all night with the pain . When I seen the heading fed up . I’m with you I’m fed up . Lying in my bed and just to tired to move . But if I hear drink plenty eat more fibre I think I will punch that person . I drink peppermint tea as well . Hope you feel better soon .

You might try Vitamin B12 in the morning. I found it firmed things up quite a bit (not perfect - just better).

Find Buscopan works for spasms better than other meds but we are all different so mebeverine/colofac should also work.. Peppermint tea also seems to help with this too.

Hi, I have suffered for 30 years and have managed to get it under control through working out what I can eat. I found out through the FODMAP Diet I am gluten and dairy intolerant. Stress and anxiety do not help me at all. Currently Moderna booster has caused a major flare up. I take buscopan. I get very depressed about it sometimes too. Hope you are ok
