I have the same but not as bad as yours, mine is over a year now .Seen a gastroentorlogist 3 years ago & PG this said its Ibs which it is I think ,I.get bloating all the time & aching stomach , they said its wind .?

This week I have spoken to gastroentorlogist now I'm having CT scan , camera up & down ( if you know what I.mean plus getting an appointment to see a colorectal surgeon.. again as I also have proctalgia fugax/ lavertory ani syndrome ( Google them ) I.think you should see you GP and insist to be referred to see a Gastroentorlogist.

Hope this helps .Andy.

Thank you for your reply . I have done 4 endoscopy and 3 colonoscopy in one year and CT-scans up and down and a lot of blood and stools tests . I have done an ultrasound as well then remove my gallbladder a year ago but still have the same pain. All results was fine just showed gastritis and an old inflammation on appendix which that does not require excision. i have tried a lot of medication like PPI with high doses a day for a long time , Antacid, Probiotics and anti-depression drugs . with no any benefits even I was thinking to end my life to get rest and stop that pain

Hi you mention you took PPIs for a long time. I took these for 3 months over 2 years ago as part of triple treatment for H Pylori. I became so ill as they interfered with my thyroid medication and exasperated my tummy pain. I have never been well since. Acid reflux could actually be caused by low stomach acid or no stomach acid? This could explain why ppis made my symptoms worse. I am still searching for answers. Some people need HCI Betain and pepsin and digestive enzymes to put acid back In and help break down food. Hormonal changes can also cause digestive problems such as peri menopause or menopause. Try reading up and educating yourself. Maybe try to see a functional medicine practitioner there will be an answer for you, there is a root cause for everything, just so far conventional medicine hasn't found it. Don't give up, keep searching, stay strong, good luck to a speedy recovery 🙏

The problem with ppi is they are only a short term solution to help ulcers fix themselves. They never fix reflux....they create low acid...which then allow bacteria to travel into the lower intestines...which open up junctions(leakygut) then the journey into inflammation and pain truely begins. To reset the gut you have to do several things.....restore normal stomach acid....increase gut flora....dampen down inflammation...here is a top down starting point.

1. To increase normal acid you need leafy greens...white cabbage...and fermented foods .....and a digestif enzyme with aloe vera (optima amazon) to kickstart the cells in the stomach lining to uprate hcl acid....betaine hcl can do this too...but taking apple cider vinegar a teaspoon in half a tumbler of water will aid the breakdown of food....and help the valve to close...

2.To restore gut flora...you need fibre like green bananas which are not digested by the stomach so pass down as complete food to feed the probiotics like yoghurt to feed on....probiotics NEED fibre to thrive...once the gut flora returns (usually damaged by sibo bad yeast after antibiotic abuse)the junctions tighten...the inflammation lessens the gas bloating stops....fermented foods are perfect because there is no need for these foods to create gases the fermentation is complete before you eat it.....a quick word about two things tgat will kill bad flora...raw garlic...and raw ginger...either will stop bloating within two days.A weak solution of applecider vinegar can help.

3. Inflammation help..mucus restoration...because the entire digestive tract from the LES to the bottom is mucus lined...any bad bacteria can work into the junctions and create chronic inflammation using yeast and sugar to feed and maintain its presence...this is why killing off yeast by starving it if refined sugar is so important...a good fibre food is porridge...No honey no sugar until you tighten up these junctions....pomengranate supplements provide help in doing this....they produce an enzyme that closes leaky gut..slippery elm bark will restore mucus lining enough to kickstart the body into doing this naturally....alcohol will create more yeast flareups...lastly if you have reflux....try eating walnuts...about 6-8 kernels with main meal...produces high levels of melatonin which will retrain the lower esophageal sphincter...so that it closes tightly.....it needs acid ...to do this...people on ppi make that valve weaker...but it can be reset...also ppi lowers levels of b12...and magnesuim ( leafy greens nuts are a good source) hence the cramping spasms.,.

By all means continue with your investigations...rule any physical causes out...mostvpeople who have these issues are in the food gut inbalance group....onevlast thing to consider is using zinc...this helps the pancreas should that be inflamed but usually this is accompanied by left shoulder pain....liver gall bladder goes to the right shoulder...

Astaxanthin...is the perfect mineral supplement for pancreatic issues..

hope this helps you in some way.

If you require fodmap diet these very things would be intensely painful.

Have you had any tests ? If not ask your doc being in pain for that long isn’t good for anyone , I’ve been in pain for 2 years still no diagnosis x

I tried Buscopan, it works really well for me. I've also ordered some Probiotics & Colon Cleanse capsules as I think I'm suffering from inflamation in the gut.

I was in exactly the same position as you & my gastroenterologist suggested I try hypnotherapy as a last resort. It really helped & is worth trying. It’s to do with the brain/gut connection. There are self hypnosis exercises online or you can buy a CD or see a trained hypnotherapist. Good luck.
