I had my ct virtual colonoscopy 4 weeks ago. Just had my follow up phone appointment. As said I have the sigmoid diverticular, along with that he says got slight thickening of the colon near it. He seems to suggest it's linked to that. But he's arranging a stoll test just in case. If it reads, 0.4 or something(maybe blood particles he's talking about he will discharge me, however if it reads 6 or something, I would have to a partial sigmoid camera colonoscopy to look at it. So many worries since I turned 60, getting fed up to be honest and be left alone, really don't want prep ruining my life as it has done since 2016. Keep well all❤️

Hi drax l get what your saying lve done so many preps over last 5 years 🤦‍♀️ This last one was because doc wanted me to do a fit test an it came back abnormal! So obviously looking for a reason. I didn't much like it yesterday was so incredibly uncomfortable with the gas but needs must! Better this morning! I do hope you get answers

I suffer stress for many years, in fact I now have a new condition "White Coat Hypertension", it took them in hospital 7 weeks ago nearly 8 hours to get my BP down from 200 to even be allowed to have a CT scan 😱

That is scary. When I am at the doctor, my BP is usually 150-160 even though I take BP medication. Glad they got it down. Do tranquilizers help?

Well I'm on a BP tablets now, but doc wants it lower. Its around 163/89. I'm on Diazapam long term, but their not as strong as my Lorazapam I was put on as a benzo baby in 1974. Eventually by 2010 my age was giving concern that Lorazapam might start going me slightly early memory loss. I'm 70 now, got used to the lower effects of Diazapam which is half the strength of Lorazapam. But still get withdrawal symptoms of flushes, and associated things like disturbed vision. Etc.
