Hi. I am 39 and Have been diagnosed with celiac disease today. I’m so concerned and worried((((. I’m very anxious person and it makes my condition even worse. I’m panicking a lot. My symptom was iron deficiency and I decided to find out what was the cause. I don’t have any other symptoms. After endoscopy My doctor said it’s very mild and minimal and that I have to be gluten free lifelong. I was Googling and there are a lot of bad things. Anyone else has this disease and doing good for many years?
Thank you
Saba

Pease take a look at Coeliac UK coeliac.org.uk/home/. This site is people living with IBS, however their may be people living with both conditions on here. refrain from googling and stick to Coeliac UK a trusted source of information
I have IBS, but my daughter has just had a similar diagnosis to you. She also suffers from anxiety (and low iron) and, I believe, this can be caused or exacerbated by coeliac disease. Also a friend of mind was transformed once he went gluten free. I myself feel so much better mentally, now that I have a happy tummy on my low fodmap diet (for IBS). Do not be anxious about this, but as administrator says go to coeliac.org.uk and get lots of help, support and advice. Best wishes for the future.
