Should I be worried?

I am suffering from horrendous stomach cramps and bleeding (definitely not piles).

First time I’ve ever had any bleeding, but it’s bright red and quite frequent when I need to pass wind. Been going on for 24 hours now.

Think I ate something I shouldn’t have around 36 hours ago

If it continues you should see your doctor.

Hi, Has your doctor checked for internal piles? You wont be able to feel them. Bright red blood typically indicates piles or anal fissure as blood from further up is normally very dark. I'd get this checked out by your doctor as often easily fixed and good for peace of mind too

Thanks Liz, will do. It’s just the bad stomach cramps followed by loss of blood that’s worrying.

I’ve had this happen before. I went to the emergency room. It was internal hemorrhoids (same thing as piles I am assuming??). I had horrible cramping and diarrhea after eating some pizza while traveling, some of the worst cramping ever. Blood was dripping into toilet and I freaked out. Happily nothing serious just super painful. Hope you are feeling better or feel better soon!!
