My dad things he has leaky gut syndrome as he has just paid £300 for a test to see what is wrong with him after suffering from stomach problems for many many years and trying every test and medication under the sun. His main symptoms are rashes, heart palpitations, chronic constipation and sometimes stomach pain and he also keeps getting kidney stones from it. I’m wondering if anyone else has leaky gut or knows someone who has that sounds like it could be this just as some further reassurance and any advice on how to deal with it would be appreciated. Also, the doctors have just found a tumour at the base of his spine which they do not know whether is cancerous or not yet. He is having it removed next week but he seems to believe that his stomach condition has actually caused this tumour to grow. I told him I thought the idea was silly but after doing some research in starting to believe he may be right and some of the toxins may have caused him to have a possible cancerous tumour. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated

Mainstream medics are unlikely to treat LG so you'd have to either use a private, naturopathic nutritionist (preferred) or maybe do lots of research yourself re diet changes etc.
Impossible and wrong to try to diagnose him on here but my guess is his immune system is so low that he is prone to the conditions you've listed. 70-90% of our immunity is in the gut.
I hope all goes well.
What’s his diet like?
He has tried many different diets. He barely eats any sugar as that seems to make it worse, including natural sugars in fruits. He eats a lot of meat, rice, fish, egg and vegetables mainly. I don’t know whether or not it would be worth him trying to gut out things like dairy or gluten as I’ve seen this suggested
Where do u live? I suggest u buy frozen blueberry and have it blended with only water, make a smoothie. Ask him to drink it everyday, and drink it whenever his stomach hurts. Start him also with plain yoghurt, then after few weeks ask his doctor if he can take good quality probiotics
