IBS/gut giddiness connection

I have been getting episodes of giddiness, poor balance, occasional full-on vertigo. I do suffer from IBS and gastritis and wondered if the cause lies here? Have others experienced this connection? Also, this is a more recent symptom in a lifetime of stomach/bowel sensitivity, so I am hoping it is just something that happens as you get older, rather than anything sinister. Grateful for any (hopefully reassuring) comments and suggestions.

Hi there I’ve been getting this too I have ibs c so don’t know whether it’s related I thought it was my ears or meno symptom x

Thanks Pansy! Everything is so interconnected. Long-term IBS linked to/caused gastritis, gastritis linked to acid reflux, and reflux can affect ears.. Nice to hear I am nttt ne a not m hell! Not alone in this. Who knows? Maybe hormones too.. x

I have coeliac ibs and hiatus hernia and have suffered dizzy spels for decades. Doc gave me balance exercise to make me dizzy so my brain adapts to it. Nonsense i dont need am exercize to male me dizzy im dizzy all the time. Just carry on as best i can.
