Hi after 2 horrendous years of ongoing gastro problems & IBS-c issues. I have now been diagnosed with gut dysbosis. This adds to diverticular, slow transit bowel, GERD & Barrett's Osophegas . I gave tried endless diets, foo & drink eliminations, supplements etc together with physio & acupuncture treatments but I am still in constant pain and discomfort. I am now gluten free and take probiotics. Can anybody recommend any other treatment for this gut dysbosis? Any help would be most appreciated.

Gut Dysbosis help needed
Someone in Facebook group for IBS recently said they had this. Its apparently a microbial imbalance. Who diagnosed you? And how do they diagnose?
Hi I got the diagnosis through working with a health coach/nutritional therapist who arranged a GI stool test via Genova Diagnostics UK. I had to pay for this privately. Unfortunately the public cant go directly to Genova you need to go through a therapist who is registered with them.
Very much feeling for you, Trish. Have you been diagnosed with all this by NHS gastro clinic medics?
You’re clearly making all the right efforts to get your first line self help & primary care management right! So, have your medics suggested provisional diagnosis of the possible underlying conditions that might be causing all your GI conditions? Perhaps there is something else fundamental that another clinic might I.D, eg rheumatology?
Eg over the decades, NHS gastro’s have diagnosed me from mouth to a*s with a series of interrelated GI conditions from barretts to gastritis & gastroparesis to SIBO, intestinal failure etc etc...which are all caused by progressive debilitation due to my underlying early onset immune dysfunction & connective tissue disorder illnesses (hEDS + Lupus + antibody deficiency disease + associate secondaries including sjogrens, vasculitis etc etc). So lead clinics are immunology + rheumatology + gastroenterology & the combined treatments they prescribe for all those illnesses help quite a lot to manage my GI stuff. So treatments for whatever condition/s is/are underlying your GI conditiins really do need identifying...
Eg wiki’s Dysbiosis page says:
Dysbiosis may be caused by such diverse things as antibiotic or mold exposure,[7][8][unreliable medical source?] alcohol misuse,[9][10] or inappropriate diet.[11][unreliable medical source?]
Disruptions in the microbiome can allow outside factors or even pathogenic members of the microbiome to take hold in the gut environment. Dysbiosis has been reported to be associated with illnesses, such as multiple chemical sensitivity, periodontal disease,[13] inflammatory bowel disease,[14][15] chronic fatigue syndrome,[16] obesity,[17][18] cancer,[19][20] bacterial vaginosis,[21] and colitis.[22]
