I have IBS symptoms caused by a bowel narrowed by surgical adhesions and have found a low residue diet improves the pain. The diet is cutting out a lot of vegetables and fruit though and I was wondering whether anybody had tried juicing the higher fibre foods without triggering symptoms? Logically it should help but I read that dumping a load of vegetable juice fast through the digestive system can worsen IBS. Not sure whether to invest in a juicer now!
