Hi all just joined and hoping to find some answers.
I've been suffering with an unpredictable gut for a year or so now, I constantly have a stitch like feeling in my lower right abdomen, had all the usual scans and test but all the docs keep saying is it must be ibs.
I have been told what to do or how to deal with it, any info would be great!
Thanks for reading.
Kind regards

I've been the same had lit stress few moths ago big flair up of ibs gurgling belly feeling sick had loads different medicines now also they said I had acid reflux everything I eat even if it's small I'm bloated indigestion sometimes pains right side I can't cope been to my gp several times I'm now on lanzoprazole the last 3 days I've been on mebeverine last 4 weeks the gurgling has stopped but still always full and sickly feeling I been thinking more than acid reflux as I hardly ever have an acid stomach all though I constantly burp ! I'm waiting a stomach scan but could take 6 weeks this has made me Down Xmas is soon I keep thinking I'm still going to be like this as this has been on going since sept 11 I've never been big water but latly I try eat little and often I seem to have lost weight aswell I also quit my energy can addiction 7 weeks ago looking after myself now this I feel something wrong my doctor thinks this has stemd from my anxiety as I am a sufferer but now feel that's calm but I'm stuck in a rut and pit now of not wanting anything so your not alone
I'm researching more on the gut biome with anxiety/stress as they are saying that it has a very big part of play in how we feel.
I've had a gut biome test done but am still studying the report to find out what I need to do, I've introduced Inulin which they suggested as well as I've ordered the probiotics they recommended.
The problem I struggle with is nausea, I can cope with pain and even some diarrhoea but nausea gets me.
And another thing they've just told me might be my gall bladder I'm worried it's something sinister all though every blood test under the sun has come back good
Thanks for the reply, I've had the dull pain for over a year now, they also told me it could be my gallbladder but to date everything is clear, I had CT scans, endoscopy and ultrasound, blood test and all are good.
I've had cbt, hypnotherapy and still it persists.
I too suffer from chronic anxiety and low mood these past couple of years for me have been horrendous.
I too worry that something sinister is going on in there but I've been told they cant find anything so it must be IBS.

Stop all fizzy drinks, reduce alcohol, stop eating peanuts, sweetcorn, Brussel sprouts and baked beans. Chew every mouthful fifteen times before swallowing your food, eat little and often. That is the basic system used, you then have to find your own, additional, problem foods and add them to the list. Beware though, that sometimes, food that didn't upset you will and food that did won't at times. The biggest problem with IBS and IBD is that it changes.... symptoms are on the right hand side, now on left. Something gave you the runs, next time makes you constipated. There is no rhyme nor reason to it, it does what it likes when it likes. Welcome to the club that no one wants to remain a member of.
