Hi please could anyone give me any advise. I suffer with crippling anxiety and my ibs is having a flare up , I’ve experienced flare ups before but this time I’ve got a sore feeling in my tummy is the only way I can describe it , maybe like a stretching pain , I’ve just recovered from helicobacter pylori. It’s doing my anxiety no good and searching the internet for answers is my worse enemy. Are theses symptoms normal as it’s a new one for me or do you think I should visit my gp any advice would be much appreciated 😀

Ibs pain
IBS has the distinct disadvantage of changing how it lets you know it's there. (pain in different place, slight difference in how it feels, change from d to c). If you are worried by the new symptoms please do contact your GP, IBS team or 111.
Since bacteria has been dealt with , i guess, diverticulitis displays itself in these ways. Have u been ultrasounded...lol for lack of a better word?
Hi,
Not sure I can help you much but I also had the H Pylori eradication treatment but still had a similar pain in my stomach to what you've described. I'd keep going back to the GP, getting them to listen to your symptom description is key I found. I was sent for colonoscopy and endoscopy after those visits.
That's the thing with IBS symptoms and pain varies and moves. Being anxious does not help but you cannot help being anxious it you don't know why you have a certain kind of pain which is new. Agree with FReedman any new symptom see your GP
