Has anyone else has viral gastroenteritis for a month? Nausea, diarrhoea and exhaustion . Week 5 now and still unable to work GP thinks I may now have PI IBS post infectious IBS ?? Has anyone else e experienced this pattern of illness and does IBS include such severe symptoms? Any help or advice would be great. Thank you.

Same happened to me after salmonella. Was ill and in pain for ages. Settled a bit now with buscopan and diet changes. Hope you improve
