I’ve tried Xifaxan three times and still end up in the same miserable place. Has anyone used any herbs and gotten relief?

Ginger has been magic for me!
I constantly sipped fresh ginger tea for many years for what i thought was 24/7 IBS-like SIBO gastritis with nausea. I also practiced a LOWFODMAP exclusion diet for decades, which pretty much equated with an anti-inflammation diet. But fresh ginger was especially key to managing my SIBO
Finally, in my 50s, the NHS figured out & diagnosed the primary immune dysfunction & connective tissue disorder diseases that we now realise have been underlying + causing my long-diagnosed secondary mouth to a** GI tract conditions. The prescription meds i now take for these diseases help keep my SIBO better controlled so now i hardly need ginger at all. BUT i am glad ginger & exclusion diet helped me postpone the need for such heavy duty medication
(unfortunately, we now know my chronic GI tract trouble is Crohns-like, not IBS-like, and is due to my primary illnesses...as a result i am in my 5th month of small bowel “rest” via treatment on Exclusive Enteral Nutrition, with no food by mouth except a few plain rice cakes ongoing while tertiary investigations continue...meanwhile the SIBO which has plagued my life for decades is barely giving me any gyp...go figure!)
