Sulphur burps

Does anyone know what causes sulphur burps. They are the burps that taste like egg and then you get diarreah. I was tested for h pylori but nothing was found. Spent half the night awake trying to find an answer but I know googling isn’t the best thing.

Could be a stomach bug you can pick up from dirty water, if so you need antibiotics. Have you been abroad just lately?

Symptoms

smelly diarrhoea

tummy pain or cramps

farting (flatulence)

smelly burps – they may smell like eggs

bloating

weight loss

I recall a bug called ghardia (sp) causing this.

I suffered with the same symptoms my brother said it sounded like I may have developed Lactose Intolerance. I changed to lacto free products and no longer have any problems . You have to check any food you buy as many foods have lactose added to them as well as things like whey and other derivatives. Hope this helps.
