Hi ,having colonoscopy Wednesday afternoon and can't find any information on drinking actimal during limited foods.it said yoghurt but anyone with an answer please .would appreciate

You can't have anything dairy so that includes things like actimel as its fermented yoghurt.

Hi there thanks for that..more confused really as it said fruit flavoured youghurts allowed .so now don't know if I can have a Greek style plain yoghurt .my diet is quite restricted .when I look at other colonoscopy sites they are allowed a lot more to eat.maybe best not eat that then .thanks again for your answer much appreciated

Gettingoldnow the hospital usually suggest no food after a certain time and to sip water,if they gave you a booklet or pamphlet it should tell you

Hi there thanks for your reply .the food list was extremely limited but I am on fluids only now until tomorrow afternoon when colonoscopy completed.i was amazed how different diet sheets differ some can have eggs,cheese etc but my one had white bread but no oils,butter,marmite,no eggs or cheese have struggled but hey ho .water and lucozade from now on .i am gonna starve lol .thanks again
