Hello, just wondering what peoples IBS-C triggers are so hopefully I can see if what affects other sufferers affects me too.

Coffee cheese any food with spice

Wheat , eggs, caffeine

Wheat/gluten and possibly tomatoes

Raw carrots radish cucumber

Pulses,beans whit and red lentils black and green

Fruit dried with additives like apricots

Nuts all except a few walnuts

Chili

Excess pastry

Some cheap cooking oils

Excess cream

Pulses, seeds, berries, onions, grapes, dried apricots, too much wholemeal bread(more than 3 slices, fried food.

Avoid opiate-based painkillers like codeine, co-codamol, etc if possible.

Gluten. .. I do not have Celiac disease but have experimented with cutting out gluten and the difference in my IBS is unbelievable. . I also take 1 Culturel every morning. The combination of the 2 have changed my life.
