Just wondering has anyone here had any intolerance tests done before?
I'm really interested in finding out as I'm tempted to get some done

Hi
Yes I had some done in February this year. I've had various ones done over the years and never taken much notice of them before. However after suffering bloated stomach and severe constipation for a good few weeks I decided to go for a thorough intolerance test. It came back that I was intolerant to all dairy, wine, decaffeinated tea and nurofen as well as a couple of other things.
The difference this time was that I instantly cut out all cow, sheep and goat's milk. I cleared out my cupboards and for six weeks I did not have any dairy. It took a few days but I started to feel better and the bloatedness and constipation eased after about a week.
I fell off the diary free bandwagon recently (due to not being organised enough) and sure enough within days I was suffering again. I only wished I'd taken notice of all my previous tests which said the same thing. It would have explained why cutting out wheat and bread was not making any difference to the bloat!
Thank you for your response Nix.
I really am thinking about getting this done. Where did you go to have these tests carried out? If you don't mind me asking that is
I went to see a lady in Bromley, Kent. Where are you based? I can email her and see if she knows of anyone in your area. She used a Dietx machine to test - very non-invasive.
I am going to embark on an exclusion diet when I come back from holiday - don't want to have to faff around with foods whilst away. The person I have had my information from (I can't go and see her as I live too far away) is Mary Roe, check out foodintolerancesolutions.com/
Best of luck
