Am suffering from excessive gas and wind I have seen my Gp so many times am tried I've seen the gastrointestinal team 8 have been put on omeprazole twice a day with metronidazole

Can you please give more details ? For the GP to give you Omeprazole and metronidazole ( flagyl ) they must be trying to treat something. Is it H pylori by any chance ? 

Or are they suspecting giardiasis ? 

There are loads of reasons for bloating and excessive gas so to try and help you please give more details . Is it constant ? 

Or do you wake up fine and it gets worse throughout the day ? As you eat ? I have gone through similar symptoms and would like to try and give you advice but please explain a bit more . 

And also what sorts of tests have you undergone so far.

Hi  I agree with Lamloum. We need a bit more detail.  I suffer terribly with bloating and excessive gas and have various ideas you could try. My GP tried omperazole as I was initially diagnosed with gastritis, then he tried treating me for h pylori, it was neither. Give us some more detail and I am sure we can help
