Anyone else having constant chest infections after treatment

Anyone else having this issue so since completing my meds aug 2021 I have had chicken pox ( had this as a child and how it happened again is beyond me I was covered head to toe) and now three chest infections and they literally are killing me off I’ve been put on inhalers and everything I feel shocking constantly it’s starting to really get me down. My GP is thinking of running a blood test to check my immunity now as I’m catching everything now .

Hi 87wise - apologies for the delay in responding. As I was reading your post I was thinking to myself that it sounded like you had low immunity, so I was glad to get to the end and to see that your doctor is testing for this. Have you had this test now and if so how did you get on?

Hey I’m auto immune and my gp doesn’t know how the respiratory doctor has missed it they also said I’m anaemic and suffering from low vit D and this has shown up in all my bloods tests since diagnosis and should have been acted on . So needless to say I’m a little bit annoyed as been suffering for so long and trying to crack on thinking I was just going a-bit insane to be honest with you . Started all my medications this week so hopefully will see if this body improves . Also had my chest CT this week to check on the cavities so will wait for those results now . Hope you ok thanks for the msg was beginning to think this group had gone silent . Xxx

Hello again 87wise - we haven;t gone silent but like the whole world we are still reeling from the pandemic and not at full capacity. How are you feeling now you are well in to your treatment?Best wishes,
