Hi, Have anyone here were able to clear the TB screening for getting job abroad? I am trying to get a job in the Middle East (UAE) but they have a strict policy for TB. I also wanna try the UK but they too have tests like chest x-ray and IGAR. In my x-ray, there is a small scar that was left after the treatment too.
Which every country I look for they all have a ban in passport on even inactive TB. My TB is fully cured. Has anyone of you or friends with TB get successful in getting job abroad? I am from India. Please tell form which country you or you friend went from. I think in some countries like India, all other countries check strictly for TB.

I have also heard how strict the TB policies are in certain middle Eastern countries. I am afraid I don't have the answer to those. I can talk about the UK though.
We ask that long-term Visa applicants from high-TB countries like India receive a chest x-ray. If this picks up evidence of active TB it needs to be treated before the Visa is granted. Once treated, or if already treated, a doctor's certificate can be issued which allows the Visa to be granted.
