Is there any after effect after recovering from TB of lungs with no damage?

I think it varies from person to person. From what I have read, some people have lasting damage and others don’t. Unfortunately everyone has to wait and see how well they respond to treatment and heal.

If TB is treated before it can do lasting damage then it is possible to recover in full. This is why early diagnosis and treatment is so important.

Hello, I can only give you my experience, Sharish. I had TB as a child, which was at a time when surgery was an option, 1946, and surgery was considered for me. But just at that time a very important drug was discovered, which stopped the illness in its tracks. Well, I'm now almost 80, and I have never had any problem following my TB. I was told as a boy by my doctors that my chest would be a bit weaker where colds, and probably flu, was concerned. That was probably true, but the older I've become the stronger I've become, so that now I may go are without a cold, and now of course we now have vaccination to prevent flu. I hope this helps. Good luck. You have every chance of never having a recurrence of TB. Look after yourself - and try not to be around people who have colds.
