Dear FlowerM,

I am glad to hear that you have completed your TB treatment and that your TB is cured - this is a great achievement. I am sorry to hear that you have ongoing health issues, however.

I'm afraid that TB can leave you with health problems even after you have been cleared of TB. This is because TB causes damage to the body that may take a long time to heal. Some people, unfortunately, have issues for the rest of their lives - but take heart, as many others do not.

The best thing that you can do to recover and stay well is to make sure that you eat a varied diet and get as much rest as possible. It is also best to avoid things that can make you ill, such as tobacco or alcohol.

If your health worsens, however, please go back to your doctor.

I hope this helps and you recover fully in time.

Best wishes,

Helen
