Sumerkhan it sounds like your sister needs to speak to a doctor to find out what is causing the fever and what is causing the knee pain. Does she have a TB doctor or TB nurse she can talk to?

Dear Sumerkhan,

I agree, please go back to your doctor for advice. TB treatment is usually quite quick to work, with most patients feeling better from their TB symptoms in the first two weeks of treatment. Your sister's continued symptoms may suggest that the treatment needs to be adjusted or that she also needs treatment for another condition. Either way, your doctor will be able to help.

Best wishes,

Helen
