Hi Lollipop24 , I don't know where you are in your recovery so I am sorry if my message is not relevant or helpful . I think first of all it's good that you are recognising you are relapsing & asking for help. If you have friends or family close to you and helping you on your recovery I think you need to be honest with them & tell them what's going on. They might just feel that you are doing ok , especially if this is what you tell them. I would also suggest going on to Beat Eating disorders website. They have lots of advice & can point you in right direction. Recovery is not a straight line , it does go up & down but please stay with it & know that you deserve a life without your ED. With love xx

thank you for your reply, I find it hard to tell friends and especially family what’s going on because I don’t want them to worry or I feel like a burden to them. Thank you for your help xx

Ok , I get that but from my experience as a carer of my daughter who has anorexia we are more than happy to support her in her recovery. We have been there since her diagnosis 4 years ago & I have never felt she is a burden. Yes of course we worry but what parent doesn't worry about their child. This disease affects the people around the person with the ED too, I am sure your family/friends would rather be involved in helping you fight the ED rather than just feeling helpless & watching you suffer on your own. The more people you have on your side helping you fight this the better xxx

And it Will be harder for them too see you relapsing than fighting... I know how hard it is to recover, i'm with you, fighting too

Just keep trying

if you relapse then commit yourself to recovery again don't give up because this is a fight worth fighting for it will be hard but you can and must win it

I will pray to God and Jesus to give you strength to fight
