Stitch/pain in side - shallow breathing
I have asthma and COPD, managed with Fostair and
Ventolin
. I had a stitch in my left side for a day or two and this morning I stretched in bed and it felt like I pulled a muscle.

My marathon
Thank you
Ventolin
! Then just the walk back up to the road whilst my hubby got the car. A lovely day and best Iāve had for ages. I expected to be in bed the next day recovering. but I was OK. No aches and pains although quite tired so no challenges just cook the Sunday lunch.

Newly diagnosed copd

Ventolin

Same race : different pace My holiday
In my hand luggage I have tablets for the day, drink, antibacterial hand gel, baby wipes, tissues, a nappy sack for used tissues and my
ventolin
inhaler. Day before journey a taxi is ordered. Day of the journey - before leaving house I wipe cold and flu stop round nose and upper lip.

General anaesthetics for gallbladder removal and asthma.
I was also having to increase my use of
Ventolin
. In Feb 2015 I had major neck surgery and while recovery from that my asthma was getting worse.

What I wish I had known (and what I have learnt through trial and error š )
27. 9x/10 orginginal medsā work better than the generics - theyāre more expensive so docs like to try you on generics but I get a highly different response from
ventolin
than I do from any alternative! 28.

Severe/chronically poorly controlled asthma: what do people do with 'small' flares?
I try using my
ventolin
every 4 hours then on top as needed which helps a bit, but not useful with the sudden flares. I try to rest/work from home when I can afterwards or if things are dragging on. Does anyone else have this? What do you do if so?

Preventer?
I'm wondering if I should see the asthma nurse to ask about a preventer, or is it not useful if he goes a full month without needing the
ventolin
?

Ventolin inhalers
I have copd severe. And have always had the powder version. Never found it helped. Doctor says it does and told me to take it 4 times a day. After been trying the trimbow. I couldn't believe how fast the bronchodialaters worked. And they are supposed to be the long acting. Not emergency reliever. So

waiting for diagnosis!
I contacted my GP about the breathlessness in February, and so far only
ventolin
has been offered, which doesn't work for me...so I asked for a referal. I feel as if I'm left without support, the doctors have been somewhat cold. Does anyone have some words of widom on patience?!!

Suspected asthma but no wheeze
I finished the course of steroids 9 days ago and I am now using clenil modulite inhaler (100) 4 puffs a day and
ventolin
inhaler when needed. The cough has returned and is getting worse. I woke 3 times over the last 2 nights and had to use
ventolin
and i'm also now coughing during the day.

A rough month Cough Variant Asthma
I've been able to maintain it pretty well over the past 1.5 years using albuterol (
ventolin
/blue inhaler), montelukast, and symbicort if it got bad. However, a month ago I caught a cold and started coughing very badly and had to go to hospital. Got a nebuluzer treatment there.
