On intermittent Triptorelin (Trelstar) since 2010 - six month shot, wait for PSA to reach double figures then repeat - PSADT in off phase 6-7 weeks. No sign of mets. Suffered from urethral stricture - several dilations led to urinary incontinence.

I was on Triptorelin for 4 months to temporarily stop my ovaries from working (and protect them from chemo). I've been off it since September and have been waiting for my periods to come but there hasn't been anything and it's been 4 months since then.

Hi guys is anyone on triptorelin with or without hrt. What side effects of any do u get etc. I've had end for a long time. Previously had zoladex and liveal with it as well as a coil. Now changed consultants so we r having this drug with no hrt/add back x

I have just had my first injection of triptorelin, two more to go, one per month. I am then due to have full hysterectomy. I have two bilateral choc cysts 60/57mm. ATM I feel dreadful, my stomache looks 6 months pregnant. I'm in a huge amount of pain.

They have said that they don't want to do a full hysterectomy because of my age I'm 35 and also had a lot of surgery so they have put me on the triptorelin injection to try for 6 months and livilal tablets... I have had this injection before 2 years ago.

Hi, I had my 2nd lap last Monday, the op went well with fewer endo deposits left after 7 months of triptorelin so that's good! I've been in a lot of pain since, less this week but I just don't seem able to climb out of the hole I'm in.

My periods finally returned 7 months after the last injection. The first one was normal but the second has been light, brown and with large clots... anyone experienced this?

Hi ladies, just picked up my Triptorelin injection (3mths) along with my Livial HRT. Need to wait on my period now to start before I get my injection.

I had my first triptorelin injection today after telling the Dr. that was the reason I was there and have to go back in 3 mths, probably for another op. The Dr. asked how old I was-nearly 29 and then said at my age it can't be cancer. People younger than me have died from ovarian cancer.
