Update and new biologic is TOFACITINIB
I shared with you all that I was off Baricitinib due to white blood cell count being too low. My Neutrophil was at 0.3 (normal is >1.5) I had to stop that biologic immediately. I had another test 3 days after stopping this biologic and my Neutrophil increased to 2, happy days. Today I saw my Consultant

Xeljanz / Tofacitinib
Doctor just switched me to Xeljanz I’m supposed to start Saturday & I’m feeling anxious. I was on Leflunomide / Arava since October but I have been flaring to frequently so doctor thought it was best to switch to a biologic. On the Leflunomide I also noticed I lost a lot of hair. I was very nervous

Tofacitinib - Xeljanz update 3 months on...
I was prescribed
Tofacitinib
after exhausting quite a few biologics first; Certolizumab, Etanercept, Tocilizumab and Rixtuximab, are some of the ones I remember!
