Withholding of Clinical Trial Data
Mercola about the withholding of clinical trial data and
Tamiflu
. Apparently an "attaboy" is in order for the British Medical Journal and the Cochrane Collaboration group. This is an area that has been left in the dark for far too long.

Pneumonia...fever just won't go. Alternating medicines.
I was sent home with antibiotics and
Tamiflu
. I was taking Japanese cold medicine for my pain and fever, but my flatmate gave me some proper dosed paracetamol she'd brought from home (Japanese brands only come in 300mg dosages.)

immunity boosting theories discussed in IRISHTIMES article
No vaccine is available yet, and the official line is that anti-viral medication like
Tamiflu
is to be used only in severe cases, or where there is an underlying condition that could cause complications.

Please don't be complacent about Swine Flu
In terms of
Tamiflu
.. well, sorry to tell you, but it does very little, actually. Antivirals can lessen the course of an illness by one day and can guard against some complications, but their role is primarily prophylactic (e.g. to stop you getting the flu in the first place, following contact).

Tamiflu and asthma
I have refused
Tamiflu
though as I'm concerned about the side effects and worried about if it would mask the natural body's amunity. Just wondering if anyone else has taken this decision with asthma and swine flu as obviously I am in two minds?
