Symbicort

I have repeated chest infections, coughing, wheezing, short of breath I will be starting on inhalers soon Symbicort, Albuterol, and Spiriva Is Symbicort commonly used for CB and what can I expect regarding improvements if my medications work well?

Hi everyone, I have been using Seebri Breezhaler Capsule for over a month in addition to Symbicort Inhaler, it's helped with my breathing & being able to bring up mucus, but I can's sleep, I wake about 3 am & can't get back to sleep, can't catch up during the day either, I feel so drained through lack

Having had similar issues on Fostair, Symbicort, Flutiform, Serevent, or indeed anything with a LABA in it I suspect that I am just over sensitive to it.

Sorry to post twice in one day 😆 I just had my asthma review (phone appointment) since changing from Relvar to Symbicort. I told the nurse that the Symbicort had been working really well but I've had a flare-up in the past week and my asthma's been all over the place since getting a cold.

I can't get through to my gp to ask him if this is OK to use instead of the proper symbicort on smart regime Many thanks

My doctor has moved me from a symbicort 100/6, one puff twice a day to Clenil Modulite, one puff twice a day. Has anyone has had a similar change and if so, what are the pros and cons please?

After 4 weeks I was given a symbicort inhaller 2 inhalations twice a day and after two weeks symptoms disappeared. Have not had to use ventolin since. On Monday my Doctor phoned reviewing my medication and suggested I reduce the inhalations to one twice a day and see how I go.

Has anyone used trelegy in the treatment of COPD and did they find it better or worse than their current medication. is trelegy superior to symbicort?

Tight chest good oxygen levels

I take my daily pred at lunch time and also hadn't had my daily symbicort so no steroids atall for over 10 hours, could this be the cause?

Anyone had any problems starting this inhaler?, I find myself quite heavy on the chest and taking sore heads, been on this for 4 days after being switched from clenil modulite, thanks

My gp has historically had me on clenil and symbicort at different times. Both of these caused persistent and painful thrush even though I use a spacer and I immediately rinse out my mouth. A month ago I was placed on fostair to see if it would have less side effects. It's been worse.

I am on Symbicort 400/12, and for me 3 puffs in the morning 2 at night feels good.

I have been changed from symbicort 200/6 to Trimbow inhaler. I am hard coughing breathless much quicker anyone else had these changes and or experiences please

After having been on a Symbicort inhaler since earlier this, my Asthma Nurse has changed my medication to a Fostair. Usually my breathing is under control but since beginning of this year, and after testing positive for Covid just after Christmas 2020, I don't feel control has been maintained.

I think my nose is inflamed due to symbicort but I also had rhinitis symptoms before asthma was diagnosed so its hard to be sure.

Pulmicort does not and Symbicort made my lungs feel stiff and I could never get a deep breath. I also had lots of nasal congestion and many chest infections during the years I took it. What inhaler has best helped with your Chronic Bronchitis? Thanks for listening. CK.
