It has all come at once!
Well 8 months ago I didn't even take a paracetamol unless I was in absolute agony, now I am on seretide,
spiriva
, ventolin, low dose aspirin, cholesterol tablets and champix! What a difference in such a short space of time.

Muscle weakness
Also I do have pain in my thumbs, which I think other resported as being a side effect of
Spiriva
(strange aye!) Any feedback would be appreciated. Trying to keep away from the Ativan, but in the mornings this is a bit hard LOL. Stay well. Martin

Feeling down and a little lost...
Medications I take for the asthma include - ventolin, montelukast, uniphyllin,
spiriva
, omeprazole (for reflux) and long-term pred. I'm just feeling like the asthma is so uncontrolled but I have no idea if there is anything else the GP can be giving me?

My ongoing infection.
He has put me on Seretide 500 to accompany my
Spiriva
and Ventolin. Sent me for a chest X-ray, which he doesn't think will show anything sinister as I had one 6 months ago, but WILL show if I still have a sign of infection and whether this exacerbation has caused more permanent damage.

My GP has changed my medication. She has stopped my Spiriva and put me on Seebri Breezhaler.
When and how do you know if it is not good for you? I only started yesterday & from what I read on here I am lucky to be able to get it, I have gone from Moderate to Severe hence the change. I'm not being defeatist (sp) just wondered.

This may help someone who has indigestion (possibly as a side effect of inhaler)
I've previously either blogged or asked a question about indigestion as a side effect of Ventolin and
Spiriva
, both meds have indigestion listed as a side effect on their patient information leaflet.

New add on treatment Spiriva
I was so disappointed as I thought my life would change for the better if we're to have this new miracle drug :( Anyone else have experience of
spiriva
? According to the leaflet it's for COPD but my go assured me its also used for asthma.

By the way!
I also take
Spiriva
after breakfast. I also take Atrovent and Symbicort at bedtime. I have found it very important to wait for 15 min after taking Atrovent before taking Symbicort and then another 15 mins before embarking on any activity (not to be confused with exercise). Stay well. Martin

Diagnosed COPD and quit smoking, 11/09. No flare-ups since. Been on Advair with no need for emergency inhalers. Exercise- walk, garden, and
I just switched to
Spiriva
4 days ago. I have noticed an increase in my O2 level at rest and exercise. Has anyone experienced similar? it is only 4 days and will continue to monitor, duh.

what could cause low blood pressure?
Could it be
Spiriva
? Is it because of my conditions or another health problem?

Has anyone experienced indigestion as a side effect of inhaler?
Nurse suggested
Spiriva
, GP changed my prescription but said to keep Ventolin for reliever if necessary.

When should Spiriva be taken?
I been given this and wonder should it be taken first thing in the morning? I struggle most to breath at night and thought if i take it at 7pm then it would help better. 0r does it not matter what time I take it?

Question for Ventolin Accuhaler users
I'm just wondering if I did get the dose as there's no way of checking like you can with a
Spiriva
capsule. Hope that makes sense??????
