FOSTAIR 100/6
He changed my
Sirdupla
Inhaler to FOSTAIR. My breathing had got worse and developed a cough which I never had before. My anxiety has gone over the top and I have swollen feet today.

Seretide v Sirdupla
However since the first puff of
Sirdupla
, I have been using the Salamol several times a day. Have asked GP to switch me back to Seretide and have stopped using the
Sirdupla
. Fingers crossed.

Leg cramps
Hi all, I've just been changed to
Sirdupla
25/250 although it has helped with the breathing the leg and stomach cramps are awful. Anyone else experience this? It is listed as a side effect for 1in 100 I wondered if by taking the evening dose whilst still active would help or should I go back to GP?

Asthma flare up
Last week I started to become wheezy, saw asthma nurse, told had slight bronchitis and told to up preventer (
Sirdupla
) and given spacer. Within 2 days ended up in A&E as couldn’t control breathing- very scary.

Sirdupla just prescribed for COPD
It is "not indicated for use in the treatment of patients with COPD" and yet the Medicines Optimisation Pharmacy Technician at our local CCG has changed my Airflusal prescription to this
Sirdupla
. I have COPD. Any bright ideas on what I should do next?

Gp changing my inhaler without telling me 😞
Just found out today that my gp has decided without telling to change my sertide to
Sirdupla
even tho only last month I told the other gp that I only want sertide & she made sure the sertide brand was on my repeat instead of the generic one , I’ve been taking sertide for over 15 years or so & the generic

Dr refuses me Ventolin
I am allowed to take Salamol and
Sirdupla
as these are recommended by the CCG. However, Salamol is horrible, leaves a nasty taste, makes my throat sore and dry. GP still refuses me Ventolin.

Can I take ventolin as needed despite using sirdupla?
When I returned home last week I got an emergency appointment to see one of the nurses who told me not to use the ventolin unless it was a life threatening attack as there was a risk of overdosing due to the fact that there's a longacting bronchodilator in the

Experiences with Sirdupla/Seretide 250/25
My doctor’s just put me on
Sirdupla
250/25, 2 puffs twice a day (up from 125/25) because I keep having exacerbations. I’d like to know if anyone has experienced significant side effects taking either this or the Serevent equivalent dose.

Oxygen sats
Note: Otherwise my asthma is well controlled on
sirdupla
. I have tried montelukast as well but that hasn't helped.

Oxygen sats when exercising
I am on
sirdupla
and have had montelukast added but to be fair, I don't think this has helped at all. I use inhaler before exercise, warm up and work out inside but no matter, before long my chest tightens, I struggle to get enough air in, cough etc and have to stop.

Pre-empt a chest infection?
In the past when I was taking seretide, I had an asthma action plan that would have kicked in through the drop in peak flow but the plan was never updated and now I take
sirdupla
which I know isn't licensed at any more than 2 puffs twice a day.

I'm new, having flare up, any ideas?
It started about 3 weeks ago following a couple of weeks on
Sirdupla
, having been changed to that from Seretide 125. I was willing to try that for a few weeks but found things were not as well controlled as usual.

Sirdupla
I looked at his inhalers and noticed that his current and last one had been changed to
Sirdupla
and the timings coincide. It is possible they are linked?? Thanks

Asthma review
She queried my
Sirdupla
inhaler use and said 2 doses in the morning and 2 at Night was high and was it really necessary. Also You can only have 4 blue ventolin inhalers on prescription in a year. Then she just checked blood pressure and peak flow.
