I'm on Seretide salbutamol and

Asthma and pregnancy
I'm on seretide and
singulair
at the moment - had a big flare up before christmas and started the
singulair
which has made an amazing difference, I forgot to take one the other night and noticed the difference the next morning.

Antibiotics do help!
Took 500mgx3 days , then 750mg 1x weekly as advised on some sites. after 2 weeks i stopped using the steroid inhaler, the node spray and the
singulair
. The wheezing is reduced by 95%; coughing almost completely gone, sinus much clearer. They say it can take 12 - 18 weeks to completely clear.

Hello
After several hospital stays, numerous doses of steroids, antibiotics and other meds we are settled on
singulair
granules and inhalers. At the moment we are going 4 weeks between attacks which is a massive improvement on the weekly ones.

advice re medication
Anyway he gave him Clenil 100 to be taken on top of seretide 50x4 puffs daily/
singulair
at night and suggested that i use it for a week and see how he goes....i was always under the impression that seretide was a step up treatment from clenil and also that inhaled steroids took up to 2 weeks to be effective

Maria and Fluff
We have been to the doctor, first he prescribed some antihestamines, which didn't really help at all, now she has some
singulair
tablets he has prescribed just last monday. Her chest appears to be clear. She coughs thousand times a day, more in the evening and also in her sleep.

Asthma and Blue Veins
Thanks to all those who replied to my last post regarding
Singulair
. I had to stop taking it, it made me feel terrible, tearful and muscle aches returned. I am now back to just having blue reliever (Bricanyl) inhaler again.

Thankfully the
singulair
works well with her. I'm keeping her inside in afternoons and evenings, not putting washing out then either. Any other tips?!!

Advise on daily Pred
Jay is currently taking Seratide 250 : 1000mg daily Slo-phylline 500mg daily and
Singulair
5mg He can go through about 20 - 50 puffs of Ventolin a day as he often takes between 5 and 10 puffs at a time. The most annoying thing is when he goes to clinic he's almost always well!

Not sure how to proceed anymore
She is on seretide, salbutamol, ceterzine,
singulair
, azithromycin, pred, lansoperazole and has an epi-pen for her attacks as well. She was on slo-phyllin but the doctors discontinued it when it no longer worked for her. She started the azithromycin in later January.
