Inhalers for running
My friend mentioned using another type of inhaler- not sure if it was
singulair
or something else? and that it helped her run more easily than ventolin- does anyone know which inhaler is best for running? and whether it would be prescribed for mild asthma? Thanks :)

Asthma meds linked to depression?
I am also on
Singulair
and whilst overall this has helped the management of my asthma I am wondering if anyone else has experienced low mood whilst being on Symbicort.I am experiencing this at the moment and whilst I can identify life events that are contributing to this my gut feeling is that asthma

Back pain
One doctor suggested I try
Singulair
and I wasn't sure about them as I know they can take 3 months to kick in. Does anyone use
Singulair
as the preventer (with no other brown/preventer inhaler)? I use Bricanyl as my reliever. I can't get back to the GP until next Thursday!

Need a rant to people who understand!
I'm also taking qvar, spiriva,
singulair
, theophylline, and god knows how much ventolin! I'd never had a hospital admission for my asthma until november last year, just had the odd neb until that point.

Seretide success?
If this is working without the
Singulair
then I am really pleased and hopeful that we will now be able to keep his asthma under control and keep him out of hospital...I almost feel that I might be tempting fate writing this but so far so good....

Possible next steps?
Tried
singulair
last year and it didn't work. Have had a few courses of prednisolone and antibiotics over the last year. My main trigger definitely seems to be hayfever and possibly mould spores, as well as the usual colds.

No energy
Now taking seretide, steroids,
singulair
, amenophilline and antibiotics with a plan to reduce meds over the next few weeks. 2 days later I'm still in bed struggling to cope with day to day activities and just feel so tired. Feeling worried as I thought I'd be up to doing more.

Singulair / Aminophylline side effects
Has anyone else experienced side effects from these drugs? Ive been on both these tablets for about 3 weeks now and feel awful on them. They have helped me breathe easier but I'm constantly tired, have headaches, can feel my heart pounding and have a sore throat. Not sure which tablet is making me feel

Early puberty
I've just read some stories on the net about
Singulair
being linked to this condition. She's been on 4mg chewable tablets for nearly 4 years.

Pollen season - yikes!
Thankfully the
singulair
works well with her. I'm keeping her inside in afternoons and evenings, not putting washing out then either. Any other tips?!!
